Periodically Crashing

I recently switched from Windows to Ubuntu on my netbook with an Intel Atom and 2GB ram and often receive crashes with video error messages. Prior to using Xubuntu I used the vanilla version and thought the graphics were too heavy as it would crash after several hours of being on. Since switching to Xubuntu that has gone away, but after installing VirtualBox it crashes often even if not running. A little bit ago I was transfered my vm folders back and left the room only to come back to an error.

I attached a picture of a previous error message on the monitor hooked up to the netbook. Will try and repeat the steps and grab a picture of the recent error.

Edit: Nothing happened when I copied over the folders this time. Have to think it's some video setting or something.
