I installed 11.04 via WUBI from the download page.

Already running Win XP SP3 on a Dell Dimension 2400, Pentium 4, two hdd (ntfs), WIn XP on the first hd; Ubuntu on the second.

On boot up, goes to screen to choose the OS, when I choose Ubuntu, it goes to a screen for GRUB 1.99 with the GRUB> command prompt.

This is the second machine I've done this and the first installed with no problems.

I've searched the forums, but can't find a similar problem.

Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

Please post the results of the boot info script.

There is a link at the bottom of my post with instructions.

Thanks.
