Hi all,

Have just downloaded 11.04 mounted the iso in a virtual drive and opened the included usb creator to mount the iso on a usb stick.

the app detecs the stick fine, but when i start the writing process it returns an error saying cant write boot.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, know of a fix?

all my machines are currently win 7 pro so if there is an alternative to the bundled usb creator that will work with win 7 that would be good to try.

Thanks in advance

Unetbootin is my favourite for creating USB sticks.

forgive my ignorance but is unetbootin useable in win 7 and also is the process of copying the iso straightforward.

If ignorance is the problem it is better to do something about it than ask for forgiveness. Did you read the link I gave you?
