Hi,

I am not an advanced user if the Ubuntu. So please do help me with this issue.
I have the Mozilla Firefox installed on my 10.04 Ubuntu system and I see that it has the older version of the Firefox(3.6).
I have checked on the Firefox website and found that version 6 is the latest. So I updated the computer and still I see that the Firefox version has not been upgraded to v6.

I would like to use the latest features with the Firefox and if anybody could help me....it would be of great help.

from terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firefox

The reason for not getting a newer version of Firefox is because you use a LTS version, which almost never gets newer versions of any software but only security updates.
