Hi, first I would like to say that I installed Ubuntu about 24 hours ago and I am loving it!!! I would like to say thanks to any and all of the developers! Now on to the question.

I think I may have installed the netbook edition by mistake. Then again I am thinking "did it installed it for me based on my hardware?"

I have an AMD Athlon 64bit Dual Core 3ghz, 4gb of ram, and an Nvidia 6150se graphics card. I assume this qualifies me for the desktop version, correct? What led me to believe that I am using the netbook version was me trying to install Macbuntu and it stated that I was on the netbook version.

What's wrong?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about macbuntu, but netbook has merged with 11.04 and higher.

Glad you are enjoying it.

Thanks for the speedy reply!

After a few Google searches I was able to find the solution to my problem. Anyway I was able to install Macbuntu properly.

Thanks!!

Cool, and yeah, 11.04 now uses the Unity interface (the old netbook edition interface).

EDIT: I've marked your thread as solved. :-)
