Rather than search through the 1500 or so posts in this list, I am adding this. If it is a duplicate, please kill it. If it is in the wrong list, please move it.
I make considerable use of the Bookmarks capability in the desktop file system and would appreciate the ability to sort the list, either manually or by a criterion such as alphabetically. Adding a new bookmark to the bottom of the list is not very useful as I often want my frequently used ones at or near the top.
