I have been using ubuntu for about two months. I recently install ubuntu with minimal cd. I installed firefox xterm xorg xfce4 and all suggested packages. I then installed the the slim login manager. Before installing slim. I had the terminal login where I would enter username and password and then do "startx". Even after installing slim, when I click the logout button I go back to the fullscreen terminal thing. (forget what its called). How do I enable the shutdown and restart option for xfce. I am guessing I have to configure xorg. Any help is much appreciated. I am running 64 bit.
