Hi,

I am creating a GUI application on GNOME environment with C through Glade. The main window runs on full screen mode. So, when the application is launched, the main screen comes on the top of the screen even over the Taskbar. The Decorated property of the main screen is set to No, so it is not associated with the Window Manager and thus it comes on the top.

The problem is that, whenever I am launching any other window from the main form, the TaskBar is coming to the front. These windows are all modal and the "Skip Taskbar" property is set to yes, so that the window will not be visible on the Taskbar, but the Taskbar is coming to the top, even on the top of the main screen. Is there any way to supress this? I am new to Linux, so please help me.

Thanks in advance.
