I have a very annoying problem, mainly that my printer stopped working. What happened was that I removed the printer in Administration -> Printing and added it again, because I was hoping that it would fix a less annoying problem of shrinking the pages. Alas, what happened was that the printer stopped working, complaining about bad parameters.

When I try to print anything, it gets added to the printer queue alright, but only remains there for less than a second, after which the printer spits put the error message. I'm sure it's got something to do with cups, as the printer was working fine until I had to go meddle...

I tried to uninstalling cups (completely remove all packages I could find to be related to cups) and re-installing, but it's the same problem. Please, I need some help! I really have to print... Thank you!
