any news with how a samsung RC512-S02 runs?

I've just purchased this laptop, though I haven't got intnert yet, so I'm using my blackberry to try and see how this bad boy runs on ubuntu, if anyones installed or read about it I'd gladly like to hear about it.

Well, it runs no good.
The volume and brightness controls are no good.
The brightness control can not go below a certain point and the volume control is inexistent in the GUI (in the beginning, before I login as root and install all the updates both were OK).
And I am not talking only about the keyboard shortcuts here.
Any suggestions from the Ubuntu team:popcorn:?
