Ailurus Development Halted?

Hello everybody,
I don't know if this is the right category top put this post in, but I couldn't find a better one.
My question is, if the development of Ailurus is halted.
The latest blogpost of the project is about over a year ago.
Also the repository is one ubuntu version behind the latest stable released ubuntu version.
Hopefully somebody can give me some information about this.
I liked the tool very much, because it made some tasks very easy to do.

I'd suggest they stopped development because of gnome 3. There's no sense in updating an app that only works on an obsolete version of gnome
