I am using Compaq Presario V6608AU laptop. i am unable to install the ubuntu. i used the exe file i downloaded from www.ubuntu.com and when i run it, the system was asked to reboot. it shows me 2 OS windows and ubuntu i selected ubuntu and the rest of the installation was a total mess. the display graphics are very bad and i was not even able to locate the yes or no, i was unable to continue from tht point the screen is divided into 3 parts overlaping on another. i am total rookie in ubuntu and i dont know wat to do, i tried other installation process too the safe mode, demo mode........it didnt work out, kindly help me out.
