Hey not too sure where to put this one but
I am wanting to do a dual screen however i'm not too sure what to get to be able to do this.

This is my current monitor:

and this is the one im getting:

So would splitter would I need to get dual..

As you want to go dual screen, I am assuming that you want to have two usable monitors, and not the same image cloned on two monitors.

In which case, does your graphics card have two video ports?

I really don't know, I haven't checked it for about 2 month..
I have a
Dell Inspiron 530
...

Go and have a look; it's not worth shelling out on a second screen unless you can plug them both in. ;)
