View Full Version : [SOLVED] Compiled libimobiledevice 1.1.1. Now How To Remove The Default Version?

Ok, so in another attempt to get my iPod to work, I decided to try libimobiledevice 1.1.1 (the latest dev version) and see if that works. So this morning I compiled it and now I'm wondering how to remove libimobiledevice2 (the version installed by default on 11.04) without removing Banshee and all the other stuff that depends on it. Anybody know how I can do this?

Solved. Made a .deb file and installed that (which replaced the old version). It didn't solve my problem though, so I'm gonna make a new thread about it. If anyone's interested, the .deb file is attached to the post.
