I am trying to install a dual boot Ubuntu 11.04 (64-bit) to run on my desktop currently running win7 home. I am installing using a USB stick, and the initial partitioning and installation procedure works fine up until I am asked to reboot. After I have been prompted to "remove the installation media and press enter" I get:

BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at 00000000bae39e60

And ofcourse alot of other messages. Since I am a newb to linux however, I am not sure which information is relevant or how to make a log file. I have taken a picture of the screen and attached it here.

my computer: Asus P8H67-M Evo motherboard
Intel core i5 3.3 GHz
4GB corsair 1333 RAM
corsair force series 3 SSD 120Gb

After the first failed attempt, I updated the BIOS version to 1702, but the problems persist.

I would appretiate it greatly if someone could help me with this.
