Hi,
Our company is in Norway, but on our servers we always use English as the display language, including some clients, since we have people from all over the world, but when I try to install the newest version of Ubuntu (11.04), I choose English language as usual, and Norway as location, but then I'm not able to choose Norwegian locales, to get the correct date/time/currency format and so on.

Is this just a poorly planned change to the installer that will be fixed?

I have seen other have similar problems, but no real solutions. Does anyone know the status of when this will be fixed? Or a good workaround until the installer is updated?

Thanks!

If it's just a UI miss in the installer you could probably fix it afterwards in gnome-language-selector. At least that's possible in Lucid.
