Hi,
I've switched back to xubuntu yesterday and I'm now trying to play Minecraft.
I've installed all java stuff and minecraft launches properly with
> java -jar minecraft.jar
it works fine for ~ 30 secs, then the games slows to 1-0 fps (even with fast graphics and short view).
At the starts it uses ~25% of my CPU and 30-40 secs later it uses ~50%.
The last thing i found out is that when i reduce the minecraft window ... it gets back to normal for a short while ( 25% of CPU and 40 fps ), then goes back to 0 fps.
This is unplayable :(
So ... if anyone can help ...
PS : i also tried to launch it with wine (after installing java in wine) and it does the same :(
PPS : The game worked fine on windows so it's not a hardware problem.
