Hi all,

I am looking for a picture manager.

I have a paid online picasa account with approximately 12 GIGs of pictures on it.

I would like something that will manage my desktop picture folder, edit pictures, and hopefully, sync with picasa online.

Picasa desktop application works horribly with Unity desktop, I gave up on it.

Would F-Spot do the trick? Or is there something better?

Thanks

Heeter

F-spot should do it.

Doesn't 11.04 come with shotwell? Have you tried using that?

11.04 includes Shotwell , which I happen to like . It is easy enough to install F-spot and compare them .

I am a fan of F-Spot. I thought Shotwell had issues syncing?

AFAIK only Picasa's desktop app and Digikam can sync with a Picasa album. Shotwell can upload to Picasa, but not sync.

The latest shotwell installed via Yorba's PPA does a swell job on my Natty here, uploading to Picasa of Facebook is a breeze.
