I have a Laptop with AMD dual core 2.1 GHz, 2GB RAM. While installing Ubuntu 10.10 in my machine, it is starting initialization, but after a while, the installation process is getting stopped automatically giving some unknown commands.
What may be the cause and solution for the same ?
Kindly confirm at the earliest.

Hi, Welcome to the forums.

Have you downloaded, prepared, etc. etc. as shown in Ubuntu's install page?

http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download

If so and it doesn't work, please state more precisely what happens, where in the process it fails.
