View Full Version : [ubuntu] natty classic gnome top menu blocks app menus

Natty classic of course has a slim black panel along the top.

Problem - half the apps I open want to have their own top panel right at the top of the screen - thus the menus and window positioning are blocked by the gnome panel

This sucks and is making some apps unusable

How do I make apps open lower in the screen area?

UPDATE:

Dont ask me how but all of a sudden everything works - i did nothing
