Hello, there's an HP3055 located in network. Ubuntu 11.04 used to recognize it as a printer and as a scanner- both.
But Kubuntu 11.04 (KDE4.7) recognizes it only as a printer. How could I get is as a scanner?

Please advise, thank you

I had the same problem with my HP Photosmart B110. Copy'n'pasting the URI from my (older) ubuntu netbook did the trick - it seems Kubuntu wasn't finding it correctly.

Correct URI: hp:/net/Photosmart_B110_series?zc=HP8A2A9C
