Hello,
I'm trying to install Ubuntu 11.04 on my laptop, but when I boot via the wubi application, Windows restarts and I can choose to install Ubuntu in a Grub-like environment. But when it starts, the screen goes blank, and I can't do anything but to shut down the laptop via the power button. I have also tried the other options, but they failed as well...
What can I do to install Ubuntu on my laptop? I have been using Ubuntu happily for a couple of years now on my normal PC, but I'd like to install it as well on my laptop, just don't want to get used to windows... ;-)
If I have to provide any more information, please feel free to ask, and I will give it to you (all but my password, cc-number or shoesize)
