I downloaded an NVIDIA tool to solve this problem and it generated a new xorg.conf file but it did not solve this problem at boot. I have been searching Google for several weeks now, off and on, but no solution. I know from another install that the problem is screen resolution in xorg but when I did it on the other, out the door, unit I got eat up with stupidity and did not write the solution example down in my notebook and I cannot recall the proper syntax and form.

Help please?
