View Full Version : [ubuntu] Very simple audio edit program - suggestions?

August 29th, 2011, 11:02 PM

I have a audio tape. All I want to do is to edit out certain parts then splice what remains together. Nothing complicated. And ideally a program that does not massively expand the file size.

There are so many audio editing programs out there many of which have huge numbers of complicated features.

What do people suggest? Thanks.

Audacity is excellent, its used in both Windows and Linux world and can do simple audio to complex ones with ease.
