View Full Version : [ubuntu] Problem freeze Preparing to install ubuntu

Intel I7 980X - 12GB of ram, SSD Intel 160gb, hdd 1TB Seagate, Asus rampage III extreme, ATI Radeon 6870, power supply 1000 wats.

I have instaled in my sony vaio notebook with same CD and works good, just on my computer itīs not work.

When i click "forward" on the screen "Preparing to install ubuntu" it still in this screen long time, dont pass of it.

Itīs Ubuntu CD 11.04 x64.

I have tried to put my hardrivers with IDE, AHCI dont works too.

If i go to gparted and delete all windows partitions, it works.

Omg.. how can i do that to install windows7 + ubuntu ?

Someone help?

in case of a hidden fakeraid installed, into a terminal, run:

sudo dmraid -rE

then format
