Can I customise the installer?

Hi, for learning purposes, I am building a custom debian cd, but I was wondering, can I edit the installer to do different things? thank you.

Are you talking about changing the installer application itself, or change the system it installed (a Debian remix).

If you are just looking to create a Debian remix you can use the remastersys application. Basically it will create you a live CD of you currently installed system.

If you are looking to change the installer application itself, download the source code and change it all you want.
