How to dual boot windows and Ubuntu 1.04?

how can i dual boot windows and Ubuntu with windows XP installed first?

You can search in this forum for threads on the subject: search for "dual boot xp" , upper right hand corner, include the quotation marks. You'll see lots of problems reported, but it usually goes smoothly.
