Linux never ceases to impress me.
My other half was having problems using her scanner on XP yesterday so I thought I'd see if I could get my old Cannon Lide20 to work on Ubuntu, it's been in the cupboard for about a year doing nothing.
I plugged it in and opened Xsane and just like that it worked straight away!
I'm amazed at how simple it was, I was expecting to have to do a lot of fiddling to get it working.
