I recently replaced kmix with padevchooser to have better control over devices like the microphone in my external webcam. I'd like to port over the kmix icon so that it will appear in my system tray, but I can't seem to figure out which file to copy where.

There's a file called kmix.png that appears in various sizes, but it's not the same image as the little speaker that normally represents kmix in the system tray. I've looked at some of the other possible contenders in the Oxygen set and can't find what I'm looking for anywhere.

I wouldn't have a problem using one of the other volume control icons I found if I could figure out where to put it so that padevchooser will use it for its system tray entry. How do I tell KDE to use a specific file as a system tray icon? Should I be using the 16x16 or 22x22 icon?

I'm using Kubuntu 10.10 with KDE 4.5.5.
