Haha, wine notepad :P I bet it's because sometimes when you install Wine, notepad automatically becomes the default for text files, it's quite annoying :P Doesn't always do that, but I've seen it happen...also sometimes Wine IE associates itself with .jpgs and stuff, and it can't even properly view them, that's even more annoying, but that's getting off-topic :P Cool that they use it though, I always like when I see computers at stores or on TV that use Linux :)

Do you notice how his panels are set to emulate the Windows one?
I think the that system is configured to be as Windows-ish as possible.

Why would anyone want Ubuntu to act like windows?

Given that there are theoretically reasons for that, why the hell would
anyone ever, ever, want to use notepad as the default text editor? Leafpad?
Ok, it's fast and light, but running notepad under WINE cannot possibly
even be as efficient as gedit.

On second thought, though main bar is at the bottom, there are possible
configs that are much more Windows-like than this, if you want it. I
actually prefer a bottom panel in Gnome2, just so the window controls
will be at the top of the screen.
