Hi I have problem installing Ubuntu 10.04.
The following hardwares I have:-
1) mainboard - 1Bit- NF7 See this link (http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/motherboard/motherboard_detail.php?pMODEL_NAME=NF7&fMTYPE=Socket+A)
2) CPU - AM SEMPRON 2GHz See this link
(http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/processors/sempron/Pages/AMD-sempron-processor-for-desktop.aspx)3) RAM - 1GB

The problems: When the installation by bootup starts, it took so long time to get to a Welcome screen

I am installing by cd rive and cd drive is working ok.
Please advise

Hi, welcome to the fora.

I am not sure I am getting the problem. Is the installation slow or completely stuck? For how long time did you wait?

A quick test is trying the alternate 10.04 ISO. You can find it using the link in my signature.

Remember to have wired internet access while installing.
