Hello. I just recenetly switched from GNOME. Which uses nautiulus, and I know that Xfce uses Thunrar, well at least I think. What I am trying to do is open a folder in a gui window manager through a terminal. In GNOME all I would do would is run a command like this:

nautilus /home/jfed/Desktop

How do I do that same sort of thing in Xfce?

Should work the same way as with Nautilus, just change the name of the program in the command...

thunar ~/Desktop
