I recently changed to Xubuntu from Ubuntu. I have a number of themes that I used with Gnome and have been replacing their metacity window themes with xfwm4 ones. In Ubuntu/Gnome, the x-gnome-metatheme section of the gtk index.theme file can be used to automatically link the theme with metacity, icon, and cursor themes along with desktop background so that they can be selected all at once. In Xubuntu/XFCE, I have to select the theme for icons on a different tab and the themes for window manager, mouse, and desktop under separate categories in the Settings Manager. Is there a way to link themes for different desktop elements in XFCE, or must the choices always be made separately? I would appreciate any knowledge you can share. Thanks.
