View Full Version : [ubuntu] WiFi is not working on a fresh install of 11.04 (32bit)

I just got done with a fresh install of 11.04

So far I like the new update and face lift. The only thing I do not like is that I can not use my laptops WiFi :confused: I have a Compaq Presario V5101US

Below info is from doing lspci command in the terminal...


Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)


Please help me I need the WiFi for school & work ;)

Nice link but still not working for me... What is going? This is becoming harder than it really should be to get WiFi on 11.04 WOW...
