update problem

hi I recently installed ubuntu 10.04 lts on my computer but it won't update.... I've tried both using update manager and terminal.. and I got this message both times



W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/c-korn/vlc/ubuntu/dists/lucid/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz 404 Not Found

That PPA is no longer valid . You need to remove it from your sources list.

open update manager -settings -other software - uncheck that ppa

then do it again
