Okular requires .okular files to save the highlihgths (an intolerable nuisance because that loses the simplicity of pulling up a pdf on almost any platform).
All the bult in PDF readers don't have highlight capabilities. FoxitReader is what I use and LIKE but the wine version doesnt' work and the linux version, annoyingly nad preposterously doesn't have highlighting capabilities. THIS IS SEVERELY BROKEN! :-x:-x:-x Where is a the app that can read and highlight pdfs and save them in pdf format for linux????????????????????????????????????????????? ?
