unkown port opened

hi all, i did a quick port scan just out of curiosity today, found a few i did not know but after a little research i found out there opened because of my mine craft server and multilayer flight sim, but i found one that i have no clue about, it is port 1780, does anybody know why this is is opened?

Could be opened by many applications since it is a regisrered port; even maybe the scan application itself ?

Well Known Ports: 0 through 1023.
Registered Ports: 1024 through 49151.
Dynamic/Private : 49152 through 65535
