Dear all,
I'm a newbie with Android but I'd like to get my phone updated
and experience a little bit with the various mod that exist.
Unfortunately mostly all the tools existing to root, backup roms and data,
flash new roms seem to be available for windows.
(I bricked a tablet a few months ago... could find all sort of solutions
if I had Windows but non to restore it using Linux, but that's ot).
I have a Galaxy Fit and I'm curious to check how the new Android 2.3.4
works on it.
By any chance have you tried to upgrade such a phone with your ubuntu?
If so can you please help me with this?
I'm pretty sure Android developers can flash their even if they use linux,
so why it is this hard to find good tutorials for Linux and Ubuntu?
