Hi all

I have downloaded the windows installer (Wubi) and when I tried to run it I get an error message

pyrun.exe - No Disk

There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive
\Device\Harddisk1\DR32.

there are also the buttons Cancel, Try Again, Continue

I have tried each of the buttons, but I cannot get any further.

Cannot even close the error with windows task manager it is persistant and keeps coming back.

hello and welcome to the Forums.

Did you only download 'Wubi.exe'? and where from?

Suggest you go to here (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download)
and download an ISO file and burn it to a cd as an ISO/IMAGE file not as a data cd.

In your case Wubi is looking for a non-existing cd and cannot find it.
