Install--stuck on keyboard layout menu

I'm installing 11.04 from a disk onto my laptop and I've been stuck on the keyboard layout menu for about 20 mins. I'm getting an error message, "[drm:radeon_dvi_detect] *ERROR* HDMI - A - 1: probed a monitor but no invalid EDID," and I can't hit forward or back. Any thoughts on how to move forward?
