Hi!

I have a HP (dv6-3057tx) laptop with switchable graphics (Intel IGP and ATI Radeon 5650).

I installed Ubuntu 11.04 via Wubi and was unable to boot due to some errors showing about my ATI radeon card and therefore I performed a clean dual boot of Ubuntu 10.10.I am using the OS with all visual effects with absolutely no problems. Now when I made a bootable USB for Ubuntu 11.04, I am able to boot into unity via the USB.

Now I am fearful that when I upgrade to 11.04, I might not be able to boot again.

For an info : I have not installed ATI FGLRX drivers. When I installed them using the additional driver option, the ATI control center says the hardware is not supported and I am not able to access any options so I uninstalled it.

So what should I do, upgrade or not?
Please help me out. I am new to Ubuntu and open source stuff but willing to learn.
