I'm having an issue in 11.04 where my system freezes sometimes and I'm forced to do a hard reboot. I read that the problem might be with the kernel version that ships with 11.04, and I should upgrade to 2.6.39. I tried to follow the guide here, (http://ubuntuguide.net/ubuntu-11-04-upgrade-linux-kernel-to-2-6-39-0) but when I do `apt-cache showpkg linux-headers`, 2.6.39 doesn't appear on the list. Looking at the comments, several other people have this problem and no one has posted a solution. Help?

Read above link and install the .debs if you like. The method shown via adding repository in your link doesn't work for me either. But they say the ppa is down, not working. so check out the above link if you like.
