After downgrading to 11.04, I noticed that all Gnome scrollbars have been replaced with a silly pill-like thing that performs the same function as a scrollbar. Unfortunately, this pill is causing me to perform too much extra work while scripting large files.
Instead of hitting the scroll area outside of the drag bar to page-up, I have to hunt for a thin tiny line, hover the mouse in just the right position to allow the pill to appear, and then move the cursor up just a few pixels to hit the page up button. By moving the mouse down to find the pill, I have already lost the general section of the page I need to view. Thus, its fantastically counter-productive.
So with that said, I need scrollbars back. Anyone know how to do that?
