If you had a budget of $300 would you get a 7 inch tablet or a playstation vita? i really want something bigger than my phone to watch videos on the go on. I really like the idea of playing ps3 quality games on the road as well

You would probably get better value for your money with the Vita. Sony will probably be taking a loss on the hardware when it comes out... it is a very nice looking device.

That being said it is not out yet, so it is quite hard to make a call at this point. It could come out and have crappy media support and only get 3 hours of use before recharging. You would also get more flexibility with the software on a tablet.

I'd wait for a 4-core vita: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13924_3-20092208-64/apple-to-face-fast-android-tablets/?tag=contentMain;contentBody

I'm getting the Vita, I don't have a use for a tablet with a small laptop. I'm getting the Wi-Fi only version unless 3G is paid for like with the 3G Kindle. I want it for the games.

I own an PSP and Nintendo DS. Vita for the Win! By the way buy an PSP and DS too. There are great games for both platforms :) And still keeps coming.

Oh maan find that PSP. Tons of great games are there. Are you a rpg fan by the way. There are great rpg out there. Also great games for other genres too. Shooter, racing, fighing, original games(Patapon, Loco Roco etc.) And you can play PS1 game too! For example Metal Gear Solid is a PS1 game that no man on earth shouldn't miss. It's a very very different experience.

I'll be getting the Vita kthx.

I already have a Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, DS, DS Lite, DSi, 3DS and PSP, so why not? (besides, this is my mind in a nutshell. (http://s3.amazonaws.com/kym-assets/photos/images/newsfeed/000/152/651/play_all_the_things_by_esda06-d3lo255.jpg?1311396789))

Until you find out Microsoft may be prepping all 360 games for use on PC. (DRM I believe)

360 games on the PC would be awesome.

I second the Vita.

I have a 9.7 in. HP TouchPad, and gaming with touchscreen alone isn't all that great, even with a display that big.

I remember my old PSP 1001... Sad to think the PSP line is biting the dust (although I like how they added another analog stick).

I agree, since I never got to play Tales of Vesperia. But I don't want to buy a 360.

Imagine that - Lost Odyssey for the PC!

But that's for another thread.
