I installed gtk 3.0 because I'd like to get into GUI programming in Ubuntu. When I try and build my source in NetBeans I get the following output

"/usr/bin/make" -f nbproject/Makefile-Debug.mk QMAKE= SUBPROJECTS= .build-conf

did you install the gtk -dev library?

I'm not sure, I thought I did, it is entirely possible that I overlooked it. I'll have to check after work.

sudo apt-get install gtk3-dev

is this correct or what would the package be?
