I loaded PlayOnLinux.
I then loaded Angry Birds directly from here: http://shop.angrybirds.com/products/angry-birds-pc

I got these instructions via email:

Thank You for purchasing Angry Birds - PC Version. Your personal Activation Key is: ****-****-****-**** You can download the game from: http://drm-pc.angrybirdsgame.com/?dl=abc. Please follow the installation instructions here http://shop.angrybirds.com/pages/pc-installation-guide. Once installed, click "Activate Full Version" button, and enter the activation key into the pop-up dialog. Note that the key is case sensitive. If you have any questions, please see Frequently Asked Questions here http://shop.angrybirds.com/pages/pc-faq.[/SIZE]

After starting up the game using PlayOnLinux, I clicked on the icon to Activate Full Version.
To my dismay I was booted completely out of the game and actually had to do a force quit to get my screen "unlocked".
When I say unlocked, the pointer would disappear if moved over the desktop.

My system specs are located in my sig line.

Any ideas????

You have to wait until you get to the second level, then it prompts you to enter your code.
