Cant boot the OS

Ubuntu was working fine, but after restarting the PC can never again enter the operating system just hangs but if you enter Safe mode walk. But if i try to boot it normal it just stay hung at startup. Any way to repair the system?

What version of Ubuntu are you using? (11.04 seems to boot fine on most computers, but earlier versions had some issues every now and then)

Where is the computer hanging up? (at the boot screen, login screen, etc.)

What computer are you using? (give some specs)

Did you install any updates before this issue occurred? (If so, the updates might have done something.)
