I am wanting to make a live usb and I am running 11.04 with wubi is there any way to use that .iso for the live usb?

as far as i know, wubi didnt download the .iso, it downloaded installation files.

you can either download the .iso of your choice, or look into creating a live usb out of your currently installed ubuntu os (which is probably what you meant).

it is probably simpler to download an iso, but if you want to preserve your config changes and additional software installations, you'll have to create a livecd from your current system using remastersys. here's a guide (http://www.ubuntugeek.com/creating-custom-ubuntu-live-cd-with-remastersys.html).

Yes you can find it as a hidden file in \ubuntu\install

Windows 7 here, it downloaded it to my User/Downloads folder. Not hidden at all.
