I want to make a more optimized kernel for my 2.6.38 kernel. I already made one dubbed "kosher" using git I would like to make a new one if someone could please point me to a guide on how to optimize the linux kernel with the different setting. So far the only optimization I have done is change the CPU to core 2/newer Xeon.
