View Full Version : [xubuntu] Proper dimensions for start menu icons in XFCE

I recently switched from Ubuntu 11.04 to Xubuntu 11.04, and I have tried to use some icon themes with start-here.png's that are wider than they are tall. In Gnome the icons appeared as the start button and their sizes were only constrained by the panel height. However, in XFCE the icons shrink to fit inside a square button area that is the height of the panel instead of the button area resizing to fit the icon's width. Is there any way I can change this, or are only icons with equal width and height appropriate for the XFCE start button? I would appreciate any information you can give me. Thanks.
